Good morning! We wanted to take a minute to highlight a resource that might be beneficial to you and your family. We partner with Lace. Em. Up. Braids for 1:1 hair care classes and hair stylings, sponsored by Foster Together MN.

• 1x1 Hair Care Class: During this one on one in-home session, she will demonstrate the proper techniques and products to use during any area of opportunity you feel with hair care. Whether it’s detangling, hydrating, over night care, etc. This is great for parents/caregivers and teens learning to care for their hair!

• Hair Styling: During this in-home appointment, she will do a soft wash, light detangle and blow dry, then style in the comfort of your own home. She offers twists, box braids, soft locs, and more.

• Who's eligible to receive a FTMN sponsorship? You must be registered with Foster Together MN as a foster, kinship, or adoptive family.…

The Forgotten Initiative is hosting a Life Skills Class on June 25th (virtual) on the topic of budgeting. This event is open to teens and young adults, ages 16+. All who attend online will receive a $50 Grocery Gift card.

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join together online with a professional financial planner and other teens and young adults to learn how to develop a budget so that you don't have to worry about how to pay bills from week to week. There will be lots of time for questions! All who attend online will receive a $50 Grocery Gift card. Register by June 25th.
