4-Session Online Book Club: Raising Good Humans

Foster Together MN is launching a new virtual book club this spring, and we’d love for you to join us!

We’ll be reading Raising Good Humans by Hunter Clarke-Fields, a practical and supportive guide for anyone seeking calmer, more intentional parenting. For many foster, kinship, and adoptive parents, the parenting journey brings unique challenges, and this book offers tools to ease frustration and build more mindful responses in everyday moments.

Each session will include guided discussion on key themes from the reading, space to reflect on real-life experiences specific to foster, kinship, and adoptive parenting, and opportunities to share insights with others in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Book Club Details

• Schedule/Dates: Every other Tuesday starting May 12th (4 sessions total)

  • May 12th: Chapters 1 & 2

  • May 26th: Chapters 3 & 4

  • June 9th: Chapters 5 & 6

  • June 23rd: Chapters 7 & 8

• Time: 7:30-8:30 p.m.

• Format: All sessions held online via Zoom

• Cost: $10

  • Includes a copy of the book (paperback, kindle download, or audiobook)

  • Attendance Bonus: Participants who attend all four sessions will receive a $10 coffee gift card

• Completion: Certificate of attendance provided, including total discussion hours
