About the Magician:
I’m Alan Smola — a professional magician and entertainer based in Minnesota, specializing in corporate events, weddings, and private celebrations.
For more than two decades, I’ve helped companies, couples, and hosts create events that feel engaging, memorable, and genuinely fun — without feeling awkward, cheesy, or overproduced. My approach to magic is modern, interactive, and designed to fit naturally into real events, whether that’s a company holiday party, a wedding reception, or an intimate private gathering.
I work regularly with corporate audiences across Minnesota and beyond, and I’m often brought in by event planners who want entertainment that feels polished, professional, and easy to work into their event timeline. Over the years, I’ve performed for organizations like Target, General Mills, and Harry’s, as well as colleges, conferences, and private companies of all sizes.
What sets my work apart is that I don’t just “do magic” — I understand how events actually work. Before becoming a full-time entertainer, I built my career in the corporate world, so I know how important it is that entertainment feels appropriate for the audience, aligns with the tone of the event, and supports the overall experience rather than competing with it.
