About the Event

Our February Coffee + Connect will have a special guest joining us! Meagan Galbari, MA, LPCC is a TBRI (trust based relational intervention) practitioner and will spend the beginning of our time together speaking on trauma-informed parenting. After that, we will open it up to our usual informal discussion with her there to answer questions or provide additional support.

Coffee+Connect Groups are an opportunity to get to know other foster parents in an informal setting. Build relationships and talk with other people who simply "get it". The meeting space we have reserved does have a capacity limit, so we ask to please RSVP to this event.

These events take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Open to kinship and adoptive moms, too!

Note: we do not currently have childcare for this event. Please plan to leave your little ones at home to ensure a safe space for open conversation and sensitive topics.

Meagan Galbari, MA, LPCC has been working with children and families for 24 years in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, day-treatment programs, domestic violence refuges, residential treatment centers and in private adoption agencies.  Meagan’s passion is in adoption and foster care and supporting children and families through their journey.  She completed the Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate post-graduate program at the University of Minnesota in 2012. She has also obtained specialized training with Drs. Karyn Purvis and David Cross, authors of The Connected Child, and is competent in the Trust-Based Relational Intervention model.  Meagan completed the TBRI training in 2012 and the TBRI Trainer Certification in 2016.
