About the Event
Teen Talk is a monthly support group for biological and adopted teens (ages 13-17) in foster or kinship families. Through engaging discussions and fun activities, we create a space where teens can connect with peers who share similar experiences. This group is not for teens currently in foster care but is designed to support those navigating the unique role of being a foster sibling. By sharing and learning together, teens leave feeling heard, understood, and empowered in their journey.
Special Event:
Let's close out the year together! Join us for our final Teen Talk of 2026, featuring a catered lunch, a gift exchange, and fun activities to celebrate our community.
Gift Exchange: Names will be drawn at our November Teen Talk gathering — every teen will be included, whether or not they're able to attend that session. Please plan to bring a gift ($10 budget) for the teen whose name you draw. When you RSVP, let us know if your teen would benefit from financial assistance for their gift — cost should never be a barrier to participating.
Lunch: Lunch will be provided. Please let us know of any allergies when you register so we can plan accordingly.
This group is led by and facilitated by Mackenna Sullivan, LGSW.
