We are excited to share that the MN Twins have donated a limited number of tickets for the following games at Target Field. Many tickets were claimed from the email we sent out a couple weeks ago, but a few are still available. You can also request to be added to the waitlist for any date, just in case more tickets become available.

Families, this is your final reminder to grab any winter gear before it gets packed away at the end of this month! If your kids still need winter coats, snow pants, gloves/mittens, hats, or winter boots (limited sizes available), be sure to stop by and shop soon.

We’re so excited to share a new way to celebrate the incredible youth in foster, kinship, and adoptive care! Our Celebration Boxes are designed to bring joy and encouragement during special milestones like birthdays, graduations, sports achievements, and more.

How to Nominate a Youth: If you have a youth in your care who deserves to be celebrated, nominate them to receive a Celebration Box by filling out our quick Google Form or when making an appointment at Abundant Goods. Let’s make their day extra special!

If the youth is selected to receive a Celebration Box, it will be available for pick up at Abundant Goods in Lakeville (currently by appointment only).

We’re excited to announce that winter gear is now available for youth in foster and kinship families at our Abundant Goods resource center! Thanks to generous support from our community, you can shop for essential winter items during our regular open hours.

We currently have a variety of winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, gloves, and mittens to help keep your kids warm this season. Please note that sizing and availability may change from week to week as items are donated. However, several local businesses are collecting winter gear in the coming months, so if we don’t have the size or items you need right now, be sure to check back soon!

Training Resource: QPI-MN is excited to work with Dr. Katie Stone from the University of Minnesota Medical School upcoming this Fall 2024. This will include 3 training sessions conducted by Dr. Stone and 3 reflective support sessions offered by mental health providers/QPI Champions to deepen learning into parenting practices. Topic areas will include relationship-based regulation, attachment, how trauma influences and disrupts typical pathways of development, and supporting a child’s regulation in the school or childcare settings. Series is open to all parents, foster families and professionals.
