Foster Together MN strives to help our families connect with others who understand and provide helpful support within the community. Ideally, families can utilize this support network to find assistance when in need. Families may connect directly with each other to inquire about availability.
However, Foster Together MN is not responsible for coordinating or fulfilling respite care needs. Both parties are responsible for thoroughly vetting each other, including verifying licensing status, identifying licensing agencies, assessing experience, and determining overall fit. Compliance with respective licensing agency policies and procedures is essential, including all parties obtaining necessary approvals for respite care arrangements with their licensing workers. Foster Together MN encourages all parties to follow relevant regulations and communicate clearly to establish a safe and supportive respite care experience.
